2025 Ford Edge Redesign, Hybrid, Specs, and Price. After the recent refresh for the 2025-year model, there is no doubt that the 2025 Ford Edge won't come with too many novelties. The popular mid-size crossover has been around for years. The current version represents the second generation, which is on the market since 2015. The company wanted to keep the model fresh in this highly competitive segment, so a relatively quick refresh doesn't seem strange at all. We have seen lots of changes. Of course, the main part was about visual upgrades, but the new model comes with lots of latest tech features, new transmission and much more. The base engine, reserved for SE, SEL, and Titanium trims, will be a familiar 2.0-liter turbo inline-four EcoBoost unit, which is good for about 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is optional. On the other side, 2025 Ford Edge will continue with another familiar engine, 2.7-liter EcoBoost, which recently came with a nice power boost, so a max output now goes around 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque.
