The 2025 Mazda CX-5 is a new popular model from the stable of the Japanese car manufacturer. The compact crossover was first time introduced in 2012 and the first generation model was based on the Shinari concept, showcased in 2011 by the company.

2025 Mazda CX-5 Powertrain and Engine
The 2025 Mazda CX-5 is likely to come with a wide range of powertrain choices and some engines may be kept for specific markets as well. The base trim may get a 2.0L four-cylinder unit that makes 155 horsepower. While this engine is not underpowered as such, you may skip it of sporty riding is a priority.

The 2.5L four-cylinder unit makes 187 HP and it is ideal for most buyers. However, the new diesel engine is the best performer. The Skyactiv-D turbo diesel 2.2 L engine makes 150 HP. All engines are fuel efficient. The engines may get paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
2025 Mazda CX-5 Price and Release Date
The newest 2025 Mazda CX-5 is expected to have (MSRP) of around $25,000. This price including destination charge. However, the Touring model will be priced at $27,000. And the top-line Grand Touring comes with the price above $30,000. If you go for the all-wheel drive you need additional $1,300.
In the end, the model Grand Touring in Soul Red Crystal color will pass $34,000. It will be unveiled in mid-2025 or so.The 2025 Mazda CX-5 is a compact Crossover that has received a mild sprucing up.
