2025 BMW X5 Specs
Under the bonnet of the base version is a 3.0-liter V6 engine. The turbocharged system is ready to crunch 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. The starting offer is already impressive. The engine comes in pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all wheels. Of course, this is the well-known xDrive system. 2025 BMW X5 Prices
Without changes to the 2025 BMW X5, we can expect the prices to stay at the same levels. That means the base version with a V6 engine (xDrive40i) will cost $61,000. Upgraded with a V8 engine (xDrive50i) the mid-size SUV gains $15,000 on the overall cost. Currently, BMW is offering M Sport package. The M version will increase the price to $105,000. If the all-electric model happens and gets 300 miles of range, it is not going to be too less expensive. If you are looking for a cheaper offer, then plug-in hybrid xDrive45e will be the solution.
iX5 Release Date and Range
Before the total electrification, the 2025 BMW X5 will offer the plug-in variant. You will find this model as xDrve45e SUV. The new generation of the mid-size SUV introduced a new system that comes with a larger electric battery. Now, the range of the X5 plug-in hybrid is 80 km (50 miles). The base petrol unit is a 3.0-l V6 with an output of 280 hp. When you add an 82 kW motor, the outputs jump to 380 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque. Top speed of the xDrive45e is 145 mph and it hits 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds.
The next edition is the 2025 BMW iX5. It is an all-electric version of the SUV. It will be based on the recently announced iNext concept. With the range of 300 miles, it will challenge Tesla and Rivian, as well as Ford who works on its electric SUV. Larger batteries will increase the range to 400 miles. The acceleration 0-60 mph will take only 3 seconds, while the max speed is hitting the limit around 150 mph. Other details are still unknown. The appearance of the iNext concept is promising.
